The Dell™ 8X DVD-ROM Drive allows you to enjoy crystal clear color, picture and sound clarity of DVD on your PC. It will also prepare you for future software and large data files that will be released on DVD-ROM. This DVD-ROM drive can read CD disks effectively - providing users with full optical read capability in a single device. It uses a simple three-way disc ejection system comprising eject button, software, and emergency eject hole. Additionally, it uses a motor-powered tray-loading mechanism to open and close the tray. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems to ensure it will work with your computer. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
